Dear Delegate, dear Club Representative,

On behalf of the President of the IAF, I would like to invite you to the launch of our Perdix Portal with an art exhibition in the Bozar in central Brussels on Wednesday 10th and Thursday 11th May. We would be particularly delighted to see you there.

The two-day exhibition, organised by Mark Upton and entitled 'Living in Arable Landscapes', will bring together work from a variety of artists. The official launch will be marked with a cocktail reception on 11th May at 5pm.

Full details of the event can be found on the invitation attached.

The Perdix Portal is a multilingual online network for those working to restore the grey partridge (Perdix perdix), and the rich biodiversity which supports it, across Europe. While being a falconer-led project, its purpose is to bring together land users and landowners of all kinds in a cooperative effort.

The Portal provides practical information and mapping tools that are accessible to all - from the ordinary citizen scientist, to the gamekeeper, to the conservation project manager. It is designed to act as a central hub, so it also connects visitors to national Perdix sites, in their own language, with country-specific advice on habitat restoration and information about local projects.

The Perdix Portal is a project of the IAF in collaboration with the Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust (GWCT) and IUCN's group on Sustainable Use and Management of Ecosystems (SUME).

Please forward this invitation to your members, and to anyone else you would like to be invited.

Yours sincerely,

Anya Aseeva
IAF Conference Coordinator
